Product overview

Small-diameter pharmaceutical containers create a particular labeling challenge: the container has limited surface area, the label must remain accurately positioned during high-speed movement, and even minor misalignment becomes visually noticeable.

The Ampoule Sticker Labeling Machine is designed for automatic application of pressure-sensitive or self-adhesive labels to ampoules, vials up to 30 ml, and eye or ear drop bottles. Labels can be applied in full or partial wrap-around configurations while the containers remain in a vertical position.

Technogen Enterprise is a Manufacturer and Supplier of Ampoule Sticker Labeling Machine equipment for Tanzania, particularly for pharmaceutical and injectable packaging lines requiring compact, high-speed automatic labeling.

A servo-driven label applicator controls label dispensing. The servo system works with a PLC, while machine operation is managed through an HMI touchscreen. A fork sensor detects the gap between consecutive labels, while a fibre-optic sensor detects the container.

Ampoules are loaded through a Stainless Steel tray, remain upright during labeling and are collected vertically in the unloading tray after label application.

Two machine configurations provide production capacities of approximately 250 and 400 ampoules per minute.

Label changes do not require dedicated change parts, while only minimum change parts are required when changing compatible ampoule sizes.

Provision is also available for integrating a thermal inkjet printer to print information such as batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date and price directly during the labeling operation.

Working principle

Ampoules or compatible containers are introduced into the machine through the loading tray.

The feeding arrangement transfers containers towards the labeling station while maintaining their vertical orientation.

A fibre-optic sensor detects the incoming ampoule.

The label roll passes through the servo-driven dispensing assembly.

A fork sensor identifies the gap between consecutive labels and signals the PLC for accurate dispensing.

When the container reaches the labeling position, the self-adhesive label is released from the backing web.

The wrap-around mechanism applies the label onto the container surface.

The ampoule continues through the machine in its vertical position and is collected in the discharge tray after labeling.

Where coding is required, a compatible inkjet printer can be incorporated into the labeling head.

TANZANIA APPLICATION GUIDE

Ampoule Sticker Labeling Machine for Tanzania production

For manufacturers in Tanzania, Ampoule Sticker Labeling Machine should be evaluated against the actual product, pack format, production schedule and operating environment. Automatic vertical rotary labeling system for applying self-adhesive full or partial wrap labels to ampoules, vials and eye/ear drop bottles at speeds up to 400 containers per minute. The selected arrangement must suit both routine output and the changeovers expected during normal production.

Operating and product considerations

Reliable label placement begins with the container shape, surface, label stock, backing paper, adhesive and required application position. Product samples help define guides, sensors, dispensing geometry and pressing devices while also confirming how quickly an operator can change between supported formats.

Planning the complete production line

For a Tanzania packaging project, the labeller should be planned with the conveyor, upstream filling or capping machine and any batch-coding or inspection system. Container spacing and orientation affect placement consistency, so the proposal should consider the whole transfer sequence rather than the label head alone.

Information required for machine selection

  • Container shape and dimensional range
  • Label material, backing, dimensions and required application position
  • Coding requirement, output and upstream product spacing

Enquiries are supported for projects in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Mwanza, Arusha, Morogoro and other Tanzanian industrial locations. The final model, construction, output, documentation and support scope are confirmed in the commercial and technical offer.
