Product overview
Automatic wet-glue labeling requires precise coordination between bottle positioning, glue transfer, label pickup and final wrap-around pressure. If these functions fall out of synchronization, even a correctly cut paper label can be applied unevenly.
The Automatic Wet Glue Labeling Machine integrates these functions for continuous labeling of round bottles using pre-cut paper labels and cold glue.
Technogen Enterprise is a Manufacturer and Supplier of Automatic Wet Glue Labeling Machine equipment for Tanzania, serving Pharmaceutical, Food and Cosmetic industries using compatible round Glass or PET bottles. Pasted markdown(9)
Round bottles travel on a moving conveyor and are accurately positioned at the labeling point by a feed worm.
A rotating glue cylinder collects cold glue from the glue pot and transfers a thin, even layer to the gluing pad.
A vacuum-assisted pickup cylinder removes a pre-cut label from the oscillating label box and transfers it towards the bottle.
The label is wrapped onto the round container at the labeling point before passing beneath a rubber pressing belt, which completes contact between the label and bottle surface. Pasted markdown(9)
The machine incorporates an inbuilt 762 mm diameter turntable, automatic speed adjustment through VFD, and No Bottle–No Labeling plus No Label–No Gluing control logic.
Production capacity reaches approximately 80–90 bottles per minute, depending upon bottle diameter and label dimensions.
For Tanzania manufacturers using conventional paper labels, this automatic system provides substantially higher throughput than a semi-automatic wet-glue labeler while retaining the cold-glue labeling principle.
Working principle
- Round bottles enter the machine and move along the conveyor.
- The feed worm spaces and positions each bottle accurately at the labeling point.
- The rotating glue cylinder picks up cold glue from the glue pot.
- A controlled film of glue is transferred from the cylinder to the gluing pad.
- The vacuum pump creates sufficient suction for the pickup cylinder to remove a pre-cut paper label from the oscillating label box.
- The label is transferred onto the bottle surface.
- As the bottle moves forward, the paper label wraps around the round container.
- A rubber pressing belt applies final pressure to secure the label.
- The labeled bottle then proceeds towards the out-feed section.
Salient features
- Inbuilt Turntable : Supports bottle feeding or accumulation within the machine layout.
- SS 304 Construction : Machine body and doors are manufactured from Stainless Steel 304.
- Protected Exposed Parts : Stainless Steel cladding or hard-chrome plating improves corrosion resistance.
- Heat-Treated Moving Parts : Designed to withstand routine wear during operation.
- Self-Aligning Bearings : Supports smooth rotation of mechanical components.
- Quick Changeover : Minimizes setup time between compatible bottle and label formats.
- Automatic Speed Adjustment : Operating-panel speed control assists synchronization.
- Overlap Labeling : Handles labels longer than the bottle circumference.
- Vacuum Label Pickup : Vacuum pump holds labels securely on the pickup cylinder.
- Gear Motor Main Drive : Provides the primary machine drive.
- Variable Frequency Drive : Allows operating-speed adjustment.
- No Bottle–No Labeling : Prevents label dispensing when a bottle is absent.
- No Label–No Gluing : Prevents unnecessary glue application without an available label.
- Cold Glue Application : Applies adhesive through rotating glue-cylinder and pad arrangement.
- Rubber Pressing Belt : Provides final pressure after label wrapping.
Safety & interlocks
- No Bottle–No Labeling : Prevents the labeling cycle when no bottle is present.
- No Label–No Gluing : Prevents glue application in the absence of a label.
Applications & industries
The Automatic Wet Glue Labeling Machine is designed for pre-cut paper labels on compatible round Glass and PET bottles.
The machine is identified for applications in:
- Pharmaceutical industry.
- Food industry.
- Cosmetic industry.
It also supports overlap labeling, where the label length is greater than the bottle circumference.
For Tanzania manufacturers using traditional paper-label packaging, the automatic conveyorized design offers continuous wet-glue labeling at substantially higher capacity than manual or semi-automatic systems.

Automatic Wet Glue Labeling Machine for Tanzania production
For manufacturers in Tanzania, Automatic Wet Glue Labeling Machine should be evaluated against the actual product, pack format, production schedule and operating environment. Automatic cold-glue labeling machine for applying pre-cut paper labels to round Glass and PET bottles, with vacuum label pickup, feed-worm positioning and production up to 80–90 bottles per minute. The selected arrangement must suit both routine output and the changeovers expected during normal production.
Operating and product considerations
Reliable label placement begins with the container shape, surface, label stock, backing paper, adhesive and required application position. Product samples help define guides, sensors, dispensing geometry and pressing devices while also confirming how quickly an operator can change between supported formats.
Planning the complete production line
For a Tanzania packaging project, the labeller should be planned with the conveyor, upstream filling or capping machine and any batch-coding or inspection system. Container spacing and orientation affect placement consistency, so the proposal should consider the whole transfer sequence rather than the label head alone.
Information required for machine selection
- Container shape and dimensional range
- Label material, backing, dimensions and required application position
- Coding requirement, output and upstream product spacing
Enquiries are supported for projects in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Mwanza, Arusha, Morogoro and other Tanzanian industrial locations. The final model, construction, output, documentation and support scope are confirmed in the commercial and technical offer.
