Product overview
High-speed capping equipment can only maintain production when caps are continuously available to the orientator. Frequent manual loading of a small vibrator bowl interrupts the operator and creates unnecessary dependence on constant cap replenishment.
The Waterfall Type Cap Feeder Elevator provides bulk cap storage and automatically replenishes compatible cap sorters or vibrator feeders according to demand.
Technogen Enterprise is a Manufacturer and Supplier of Waterfall Type Cap Feeder Elevator systems for Tanzania, developed for integration with capping machines using closures such as Screw Caps and ROPP Caps. Pasted markdown(9)
The storage silo is mounted at a relatively low level so operators can load bulk caps without repeatedly lifting closures to the height of the capping-machine feeder.
A plastic modular elevator belt transfers closures upward from the storage hopper.
A photoelectric sensor with automatic ON/OFF control regulates elevator operation according to downstream cap demand. When additional caps are required, the elevator supplies them; when the required level is reached, feeding can stop automatically. Pasted markdown(9)
The cap-delivery system incorporates knob adjustment for compatible closures up to 110 mm, while the elevator inclination can be adjusted from 0 to 20 degrees.
The bulk hopper and storage silo are manufactured from SS 304, and the feeding mechanism uses a worm gearbox, gear motor and Variable Frequency Drive.
Production capacity is specified at approximately 100–125 caps per minute, with storage capacity of approximately 1000–2000 caps depending upon cap diameter. Pasted markdown(9)
For Tanzania packaging plants with automatic capping lines, the elevator reduces repeated manual cap loading and helps maintain a more consistent cap supply to the primary orientator.
Working principle
- Bulk closures are manually loaded into the low-level Stainless Steel storage silo.
- The modular elevator belt picks up caps from the hopper and transports them upward.
- The discharge point delivers closures towards the connected cap sorter, vibrator or capping-machine feeding system.
- A photoelectric sensor monitors downstream cap demand.
- When the receiving feeder requires additional closures, the elevator operates and supplies more caps.
- When sufficient closures are available, the automatic ON/OFF control stops or regulates the elevator.
- Variable Frequency Drive control allows the cap-feeding speed to be adjusted.
- The delivery arrangement can be mechanically adjusted to suit compatible cap sizes up to the specified range.
Salient features
- CGMP Model : Designed for organized cap-handling operations.

Applications & industries
The Waterfall Type Cap Feeder Elevator is designed as supporting equipment for automatic capping operations.
Typical applications include:
- Screw cap feeding.
- ROPP cap feeding.
- Bottle-closure feeding.
- Bulk cap storage.
- Cap sorter replenishment.
- Vibrator bowl replenishment.
- Automatic capping lines.
The equipment is particularly useful where the main cap feeder is positioned too high for convenient continuous manual loading or where higher production volume requires a larger closure reserve.
Application items
- Screw Cap Feeding : Supplies compatible screw caps to capping equipment.
- ROPP Cap Feeding : Handles compatible ROPP closures.
- Bulk Cap Storage : Provides larger closure storage than a standard small hopper.
- Vibrator Replenishment : Supplies caps to compatible vibrator feeders.
- Cap Sorter Feeding : Maintains cap levels in connected sorting equipment.
- Automatic Capping Lines : Reduces manual closure replenishment during production.

Cap Feeder Elevator for Tanzania production
For manufacturers in Tanzania, Cap Feeder Elevator should be evaluated against the actual product, pack format, production schedule and operating environment. Automatic bulk closure feeding system with low-level Stainless Steel storage silo, modular elevator belt and demand-controlled cap supply for screw caps, ROPP caps and compatible closures. The selected arrangement must suit both routine output and the changeovers expected during normal production.
Operating and product considerations
The machine is configured from representative samples, dimensioned drawings and the required handling sequence. This confirms the guides, tooling, contact parts, controls and operator access needed for stable production with the intended product or container.
Planning the complete production line
For a Tanzania installation, the proposal should consider available space, utilities, conveyor interfaces, changeover needs, cleaning access and the roles of adjacent equipment. These details determine whether a standalone machine or a connected line arrangement is more appropriate.
Information required for machine selection
- Actual product and packaging samples or drawings
- Required output and operating schedule
- Available electrical, compressed-air, water or steam utilities
Enquiries are supported for projects in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Mwanza, Arusha, Morogoro and other Tanzanian industrial locations. The final model, construction, output, documentation and support scope are confirmed in the commercial and technical offer.
