Product overview
Process plants often need one machine to perform several size-reduction and material-conditioning operations rather than maintaining separate equipment for every application.
Multi Mills combine granulation, pulverizing, mixing, shredding and chopping functions within a portable processing unit. Process behaviour is changed through beater selection, rotor speed and perforated-screen configuration.
Technogen Enterprise is a Multi Mills Manufacturer and Supplier for Tanzania, serving Pharmaceutical, Food, Nutraceutical, Chemical, R&D and educational applications.
The machine uses 12 beaters with knife and impact edges plus two scraper blades. Rotor speeds of 750, 1500, 2300 and 3000 RPM are specified, with output approximately 50–200 kg/hour.
SS 316 is used for standard product-contact parts except the beaters and scraper blades, which are specified as hardened and chrome-plated SS 401.
Working principle
- Material enters through the charging section.
- The rotor rotates the selected knife or impact beaters at the chosen speed.
- Product is subjected to cutting, impact, mixing or shredding action.
- The processed material moves through the selected cylindrical perforated screen.
- Changing rotor speed, beater orientation or screen perforation changes the processing effect.
- Processed material exits through the discharge section.
Salient features
- Reversible Beater Direction : Supports knife and impact processing modes.
- Perforated Screens : Cylindrical screens control processed particle passage.
- SS 316 Contact Parts : Used for standard product-contact areas except specified blades.
- Hardened Blades : Beaters and scraper blades use hardened chrome-plated construction.
- Variable Rotor Speed : Multiple speeds available through VFD control.
- Portable Design : Castors and brakes simplify equipment movement.
- Quick Dismantling : Contact assemblies can be removed for cleaning.
- Multiple Processing Modes : One machine supports several compatible size-reduction operations.
Safety & interlocks
- Castor Brakes : Stabilize the portable machine during operation.
Optional / add-on features

Multi Mill for Tanzania production
For manufacturers in Tanzania, Multi Mill should be evaluated against the actual product, pack format, production schedule and operating environment. The need for versatile, efficient, and hygienic processing equipment is critical in industries like pharmaceuticals, food, chemicals, and research laboratories. A machine that can perform granulation, pulverizing, mixing, shredding, and chopping in one portable unit provides unmatched convenience and efficiency. The selected arrangement must suit both routine output and the changeovers expected during normal production.
Operating and product considerations
Process performance depends on the material characteristics, bulk density, batch size, moisture behaviour and required product-contact finish. Charging, processing and discharge methods are selected to support repeatable batches, practical cleaning and safe operator access for the intended formulation.
Planning the complete production line
For a Tanzanian processing facility, the machine should be reviewed with upstream dispensing or charging and downstream transfer, filling or storage. Available floor space, electrical supply, air, heating, cooling, ventilation and dust-control expectations should be included in the technical discussion.
Information required for machine selection
- Product characteristics, bulk density and batch size
- Product-contact material, finish and cleaning expectation
- Charging, discharge, utilities and integration with adjacent equipment
Enquiries are supported for projects in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Mwanza, Arusha, Morogoro and other Tanzanian industrial locations. The final model, construction, output, documentation and support scope are confirmed in the commercial and technical offer.
